it established CHA Bio Complex – Korea’s largest future research complex – in May 2014.
CHA Bio Complex, composed of 7 levels above ground and 5 basement levels and totaling a surface area of 20,000 pyeong
(712 Thousand Square feet), is Korea’s only integrated bio center that encompasses hospitals, medical schools,
biotech companies and research facilities.

CHA Bio is conducting comprehensive R&D studies to treat incurable diseases using stem cells such as embryonic
stem cells, adult stem cell and immune cells. Stem cells are key to the future of medicine in the 21st century.
